URBAN BOOK REVIEWS by Danielle
"A Perfect Plan by Alyssa Drake is an intoxicating read. The words fill one’s mind and send the heart racing. The raw desires brings out a chemistry so strong I could hardly believe I was simply reading about them. But intimacy isn’t the only exciting part of this novel. Alyssa Drake has also, masterfully woven a suspenseful yet deadly mystery into her historical romance. I have never felt so pumped about reading a historical tale than I have when reading this book. The pages come to life. Showing readers as they follow along. The chemistry builds with every page. Creating an intense atmosphere. The danger ahead is one that will keep readers on the edge of their seats in wait."

Book Review Cafe - by LeighAnn
"Author Alyssa Drake hit it out of the ballpark with A Perfect Plan (Wiltshire Chronicles Book 1) #HistoricRomance What a great job! She weaved an excellent mystery/love story. Lord Benjamin Westwood is the perfect rake and Samantha Hastings is a bullheaded, I’ll do it my way, heroine. (I could relate to her right off the bat.) The chemistry between the Lord and Sam was thick throughout this book! The way she gave us the story from both of their POV’s pulls you into the book even more. The story flows beautifully and very easy to know when the POV smoothly changed. This book pulls you in from the beginning and you’re hooked even the sub-characters are easily likable. I hope to learn more about Thomas in the next book. By the end of the book you’ll feel like you’ve lost a best friend and begging Alyssa to GET BOOK TWO OUT! Hint! Hint!"

I had no intention of writing two days in a row, but I was so excited I wanted to share the good reviews with everyone. This morning I received notification that two reviews of A Perfect Plan had been posted. YAY!!! I love receiving reviews; it helps me grow as a writer and discover what ideas are received well and some - not so much.
A great big thank you to both Angeli and J.L. for their reviews. I appriciate your time and honesty.

"This book is a must read, even for someone who doesn't particularly read romance novels. If you enjoy a good read with some mystery, read this one. It is a light read, but very exciting throughout the entire book, nothing too taxing on the brain, which I appreciate as I work so much lately. I read for enjoyment, not to stress myself more! Although after reading the epilogue, now I am slightly stressed waiting on book 2! Best epilogue ever!"
